Dress sense
We encourage the children to be independent and to look after themselves. This includes taking themselves to the toilet, taking off and putting on outdoor clothes and shoes.
By dressing your child in comfortable play clothes with elastic waists and easy fastenings you will help them to master these basic skills and build their confidence.
Please clearly label your child’s clothes with their name so that they come home wearing the right things! You can find out about

Mess masters
Children love all sorts of messy activities – the messier the better! They can explore new ideas and materials and learn how to clear up too.
While we want children to really get involved in these activities, we don’t want to send them home in a pickle, so we provide protective clothing. However, we can’t guarantee that everything will stay spotless.
Lavendon Pavilion Preschool uniform
Children enjoy the sense of belonging that a uniform gives them, but it isn’t compulsory at Lavendon Pavilion Preschool.
Preschool clothing with our logo is available to buy.
It’s good quality and affordable, with a t-shirt costing just £5.25, a long sleeve t-shirt for £6.50 and sweatshirts for £8.25.
