Welcome to Lavendon's Pavilion Preschool

Children between two to four years old will enjoy the friendly and secure environment at Lavendon Pavilion Preschool, in the heart of Lavendon. The Lavendon Pavilion building is in the centre of the village, set in the green surroundings of the recreation field.

Parents who are thinking about preschool often have a lot of questions to ask us, but here are a few of the most common.

What will my child gain from attending preschool?
Taking part in preschool sessions will build your child’s confidence and independence. It will help them to learn while they play and is great preparation for primary school.

They will enjoy a stimulating child-centred environment and have fun making new friends and developing their skills.

When is my child ready to start preschool?
Every child is different, but in our experience, children between two years and two years six months will settle in to the preschool environment easily if introduced gradually.

How do I introduce my child to preschool?
We recommend one session each day until your child is two and a half years old. Then you can add additional sessions, knowing that your child will be happy and confident.

Do children have to live in Lavendon to come to Lavendon Pavilion Preschool?
We welcome children from Lavendon, Turvey, Cold Brayfield, Harrold, Carlton, Warrington, Bozeat, Olney and the wider surrounding area.

Can I be involved?
Lavendon Pavilion Preschool has an 'open door' policy for parents. We really want you to be actively involved in your child's learning journey with us.

Who runs Lavendon Pavilion Preschool?
Our preschool is a registered charity (registered charity number 1152573) and we are managed by a dedicated board of directors who all live in Lavendon.

How do I register my child?
Just complete our contact form. We’ll get in touch with you to make sure that the sessions you would like are available. There’s a £10 registration fee and, when everything’s confirmed, we’ll send you a welcome pack and t-shirt (for your child).
